Place-Based Learning
The key to making new information stick is to make it meaningful. When learning is hands-on, in the real world, it has context and relevance.
At PCD, students are engaged in revelatory ways and take ownership of their own learning experiences. They are always getting out of the classroom and into "the field;" out of the pages of a book and into a primary source; away from recycling hypothetical situations and head first into understanding and solving real world problems.
