2nd Grade Teacher - Leave Replacement

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Second Grade Teacher to fulfill a leave replacement from March 1, 2025-June 15, 2025.  The ideal candidate should have a deep commitment to student learning and teaching, and the ability to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment.

Expectations of a Team Member include:
  • Prepare instructional activities and lesson plans that both provide hands-on learning experiences for third-grade students and align with curriculum standards.
  • Develop a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  • Monitor students' progress.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about students' overall progress. 
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
  • Integrate technology and other resources to support diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Is results driven, with excellent planning and organizing skills, and a “do whatever it takes” attitude and work ethic

Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree is required/master’s degree preferred
  • A passion for teaching children
  • A commitment to continuous improvement
